We are asked to choose a theme of our choice and create a magazine, which will be printed and created so that we can understand the process of creating a magazine.

Magazine Topic
I decided to write an article discussing the negative focus on heavy metal music. This article explores why heavy metal music is the savior of many teenagers who turn to music in response to depression or experiencing breakups. I decided to end the article using metal's aggressive behavior to tell the reader we won't stand down, we will rise to exterminate this negative notion.

‍Article Title
When coming up with the title I felt it needed to capture metal's aggressive nature. After feeling like you've hit rock bottom metal music reignites the flame in your soul. From Ashes to Flames relates to the listener by signifying people feel reborn after they've listened to heavy metal music.

Layout
The top left showcases the title, which is using the typeface Crucifixion, which captures the article's tone; we will not stand by as you slander our music. To the right, I'm showcasing a wolf yelling several negative words these teens hear daily. The reason behind the wolf is that some of the teenagers see these people as monsters. I also highlighted a quote from one of the articles I referenced to put it in people's faces that heavy metal music does have positive effects on people's lives. The bottom completes the article's tone by including some of my personal branding as well as a skull throwing up the rock on gesture.
